Initial Draft Impressions
Scout.com gives the Eagles an A- for the entire draft. This seems right.
CBS Sportsline is giving the Eagles an A for their first round draft pick, Mike Patterson
NFL.com also has good things to say about the Eagles’ first pick.
ESPN.com gives the Eagle’s kudos for their day one picks, listing them in the “Winners” column.

Draft: Eagles select Offensive Tackle Calvin Armstrong
The Philadelphia Eagles have selected Calvin Armstrong from Washington State with the 211th pick of the draft, in a continued effort to bolster their aging offensive line. Armstrong is big and tall (6-7, 325 lbs) but not explosive off the line.

Draft: Eagles take hybrid defensive player in the fifth round
The Philadelphia Eagles have selected outside linebacker/defensive end Trent Cole from Cincinnati with their first pick in the fifth round. Cole is physically stacked, with only 7 percent body fat!
