DeSean Jackson - Wide Receiver / Returner - Eagles 2008 Draft Pick
DeSean Jackson is perhaps the most explosive player in the entire 2008 draft and the Birds nabbed him in the 2nd round. He’s clearly the fastest person in the 2008 draft and even if he only pans out as a kick / punt returner the Eagles will benefit hugely. Think Devin Hester, but with much better wide receiver capabilities.
DeSean Jackson’s downside has always been his size. But that’s the complaint people had about Jerry Rice and Brian Westbrook too. So let’s see how this turns out, but by most accounts, Jackson was the one player in this draft who had the ability to single handedly turn a game around with his speed.
