What you say about Ryan Howard, I can say about David Ortiz. If you look at his rookie card, he's always been huge. His stats did take a significant turn for the better when he joined the Red Sox, but looking at his size in Minnesota and comparing it to now, I just can't see him taking juice.

P.S. Ryan Howard is easily among my favorite players in the N.L., along with Hanley Ramirez, David Wright, Chase Utley, Albert Pujols, and Lance Berkman.

Shame on congress for wasting the peoples hard earned tax dollars.

Many studies have proven that steroids can be good for the health if they are legitimate pharmaceuticals. It has been proven that clean steroids are far safer than junk food and are far far safer than smoking.

The primary reason steroids are dangerous is one needs to buy them off the black market and this can lead to purity issues.

In general hormone replacement therapy and even steroids prescribed to strength athletes has a positive effect on the health unless they are bought on the back market and are impure. We must legalize steroids to increase the safety to those that use them. Individual sports still can test and prohibit them if they want but putting casual steroid users behind bars is wrong, wrong, wrong and hurts the innocent.
