Sports… the Philadelphia way

Phillies On Verge of Sweeping Best Team in Baseball

If you had asked me before the series, I would have bet that Brewers would win this series against the Phils. Coming into the series, the Brew Crew were the best team in baseball. Not only do they have stellar pitching, but the Phillies are missing their number one star in Ryan Howard.

But the Phillies have somehow managed to win the first 3 in a 4 game series. And with game three, they finally got to .500 for the first time all season. They are on a three game winning streak and are 7-3 for the last 10 games.

So what gives? Why are the mediocre Phils dominating one of the top 3 teams in the MLB? Is it just a fluke? Were the Brewers over achieving? Or are things finally starting to click for this roller coaster ride we call the Phillies?

A 4-game sweep would be so sweet. And it would also put us on the positive side of .500
