Yesterday was Ryan Howard Day
Frustrated much? Yesterday after a rough outing Howard exclaimed:
“This is Ryan Howard Day. No interviews. No media.”
Asked later to do a TV interview:
“That would spoil Ryan Howard Day. I delegated it as a no-interview day.”
Oh, but then Scott Palmer flipped the script on Howard’s stanky ass.
“It’s D.J. Clue Day,” Palmer said.
D.J. who?
“You have to figure it out,” Palmer joked.
Who knew Scott Palmer was so plugged in to the hip hop scene? Word is, Palmer keeps a breakbeat tape and a swatch of cardboard within arms length when he travels.
Other News:
- Mark Eckel reports that the Birds are shopping Darwin Walker.
- Its looking like the Eagles are currently the frontrunners in the Takeo Spikes Sweepstakes. Spikes would work well with Trotter as they are both aging veterans with injury problems.
