A good GM would have turned the 2001 Finals into something more substantial, but King didn't make one significant upgrade to the team, unless you can call VanHorn or Big Dog an upgrade??? Look at what the Mavs and Heat have done to propel their teams to championship caliber. If King is to credit for anything, it's that he's turned some late-round 1st and 2nd round picks into NBA players, such as W. Green, Korver and Dalembert. He's going to have a lottery pick, hopefully top 3, to pick this year plus the picks from Denver, so this will be his time to shine and prove that he's worth all the money he's made running the 76ers into the ground since Brown left. Ahh yeah…

They have Kevin McHale as the best general manager in sports. I saw McHale at 1, King at 3, and promptly stopped reading that article. I believe it actually said Billy Beane was the highest baseball GM on the list - at 23 or something. I understand that lists are tough to make in general and oftentimes controversial, but come on, this is a joke. That entire list is really a joke.
