Sports… the Philadelphia way

Are you going to cry for me Chris Webber?

Chris Webber is a spoiled little bitch of a man. He’s also delusional because he still thinks he can play basketball. Last night, Webber uttered the following about his time in Philadelphia:

“It was probably the first time I didn’t enjoy basketball”

“I’m really happy they let me go, I was really used to winning, and being in a situation where a lot is going on besides winning is tough.”

A lot is going on besides winning? Like not showing up for Fan Appreciation Night? Like stealing 20 million dollars a year to sit on the bench during crunch time because you can’t play a stitch of defense anymore? What a loser. For me, Webber has a nice place next to Matt Geiger and Derrick Coleman in the hall of 76er salary thieves.

And what has changed for Webber? He’s making an addition 2 million for the Pistons this year.

What hasn’t changed? Webber was held out of the final 4 minutes, 52 seconds of the Pistons game last night as they attempted to make a defensive comeback.

Obviously not a photo of Webber in a 76er uniform. This was taken at a much earlier time. A time when the 6′10″ man could dunk a basketball.

That’s funny. It was the first time in a while that I didn’t enjoy basketball too. Thanks, C-Webb.

Is this guy serious? Webber needs to face facts and realize he wasn’t the player he used to be. There’s no reason why him and Iverson couldn’t have dominated the Eastern Conference if Webber played at the level he did in Sacramento. But his age has gotten the best of him and his performance has sunk considerably. There’s no need to criticize teamates when the level of play from Webber was just “mild sauce.”

You are so low, Webber. Philadelphia were really kind to accept you and let you play with one of the most important players of all times (AI) and… how can you say that? I’m so outraged…

I hope Sixers can get better this season, so we can prove everyone the real power of Philadelphia.
