Sports… the Philadelphia way

It’s Official: Time to start rebuilding the Eagles

Whether you like it or not, it’s time to start dismantling this Eagles team from the top down. Andy Reid is a good coach, but he’s no longer effective in Philadelphia. Start by getting rid of him. Bring in a coach who’s got some football attitude. Gruden is on everyone’s shortlist right now. He’d be fine with me.

Next you need to start pursuing skill specialization. The Eagles have had this idea that getting mediocre role players is better than getting great skilled players. So you’re left with Reno Mahe and Rod Hood returning kicks. Granted that Mahe has been doing better as of late, but still, let’s be serious about this – Mahe isn’t an NFL player.

Speaking of NFL players, why is it that the Eagles always pick up these BYU players who shouldn’t be playing in the NFL? Oh yeah, I forgot, BYU players are supposed to be coachable and good charactered. If that’s the case, then why the hell are they jumping off sides twice a game?

What it comes down to is this: current Eagles management is too principled for their own good. They don’t make adjustments when adjustments are staring them in the face. They go by the chart too closely. They don’t make the obviously right decision when it’s freakin obvious to everyone else in the Philly Metro region.

Speaking of freakin obvious decisions…

    Greetings!

My name is Erin Chaves and I am contacting you to find out what advertising/sponsorship opportunities may exist on your blog. I am in the process of promoting the services of a prominent hair restoration doctor in Philadelphia. He has an excellent reputation and has performed more than 6,000 hair transplants.
I am reaching out to prominent local bloggers in order to promote and receive feedback on the client’s website. I am interested in the following opportunities, and am open to hearing your suggestions for other arrangements:
Review of the site and offerings, with a link, for a one-time fee (250 words or greater).
    · Sponsoring a few of your posts (we pay a one-time fee for you to mention, with a link, in a few posts that the doctor sponsored them).
    · Mini-banner or sidebar links paid 6 months up-front.
Please let me know your thoughts on how this could work for you. If you have pricing in mind already, definitely let me know. I am eager to have a chance to catch the interest of your audience and support a great blog.
Please contact me at erin.chaves[@]gmail.com. Thanks!
