Howard Eskin is Right
I’ve been listening Mr. BK again after a long hiatus. He actually makes a fantastic point.
Ignore the national media. They’re just trying to get under your skin.
The Eagles are not a team that’s falling apart. I don’t think they are Super Bowl caliber. But look. They are not moving in a backward direction as some of the fine sports journals would have you believe. Certainly not backwards from last year. And with the acquisition of a top 25 Wide Receiver, they’ve become one of the best 10 teams in the league. In my view the’ve gone from being top 15 to top 10, which is huge.
But the national media would have you believe that the Eagles suck and are getting suckier. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Eagles are a better team than they were last year. Much better. Don’t let anyone fool you.
