Eagles lose to Giants in Overtime
Now I don’t mind watching that kind of game, even if the Iggles lose. They fought hard, they put themselves in a position to win, and the game was tight all the way through.
I would’ve traded tickets from the Seahawks game for the Giants game any day!
Hey, that Moats guy looks good. He’s got a nice burst of speed around the edge. I’d like to see a little more from him up the middle and doing cutbacks, but even there he had a few 6-12 yard runs that convinced me that he can see the field fairly well.
The receivers are another story. While they made some big catches (especially Reggie Brown) they also dropped some fairly easy catches. I was glad to see that they held on to the ball at least some of the time after getting popped.
McMahon threw a nice ball yesterday. There were a few bad ducks, but overall he held his own. He throws hard and he has a descent deep ball. McMahon, Moats Trott, Dawk and Lewis give me the incentive to keep watching this season.
Hey, if they keep playing close games like this the season won’t be a complete bust. They’ll get the young guys some experience, weed out the bad talent, pick up a better draft pick then they’ve gotten in several years, and hopefully come out fighting again next year. I cant’ imagine another season where as many things go wrong as they did this season (injuries, Owens, etc.)
