The Fly-Guys Win At The End
I’ve gotta admit…I was just listening to the game in the background when Radivojevic scored the winning goal with only 53 seconds left in regulation. But damn did it get my attention.
The Flyers seem to have gotten a habit for winning games in the final seconds. If my memory is working, there have been several of these this season. Not sure what it means, but hey this team is winning the one-goal games in a consistent and dramatic fashion. Really, that’s what it takes to be a good playoff team, too. You’ve gotta pull out the close ones. Playoff hockey is rarely blowout hockey.
I like what I see out of the Flyers so far this season. The team seems to be battling well through injuries. They also seem to be getting better as the season goes on. This has to have something to do with the fact that a lot of these guys have never played together before.
Philadelphia…this is the team to put your championship hopes on for the time being.
