Terrell Owens Apologizes, Drew Rosenhaus Tanks
Anybody hear the press conference? Terrell Owens actually did a decent job with an admittedly pre-written statement. But, then, oh, then, Mr. Huckster himself, Drew Rosenhaus steps up to the plate and whiffs… Next question. Next question. Next question.
The Eagles have remained firm in their position that Terrell Owens will not play again for the Philadelphia Eagles. That is the correct position to take. Owens’ performance as an athlete is undeniable, but the consequences of his disruption to team chemistry outweighs any gains the Eagles get from his superiority as an athlete. It’s sad that things had to come to this.
