Pitkanen scores two goals at the end as Flyers beat Bruins in OT

All night, it looked like the Flyers would lose this one. But my man, Joni Pitkanen stepped up to the plate bigtime, scoring a goal with only 23 seconds left to tie the game and then scoring the winning goal nearly 2 minutes into overtime. 4-3 Flyers.

Pitkanen is a defenseman, by the way.

As I noted earlier in the season, Pitkanen looks like he’s going to be a great player. His first season in the NHL and he’s already producing the goods. Expect big things from this guy,
