Welcome Back Hugh!
The Eagles have made a subtle move that could be instrumental in bringing the Birds their first ever Super Bowl. No, they didn’t acquire a new player. They brought Mr. Hugh Douglas, personality extraordinare, back into the organization. This time, Hugh is the official “Eagles Ambassador”.
The main thing is that Hugh is back. He’s back in the locker room. He’s back in the press. He’s back as a leader. He’s back where he belongs.
“He has a great personality, and it also allows him to be around the football team,” Reid said. “He is a positive influence around those guys.”
Kudos to the Eagles management for making this fantastic move.
