Pistons vs. Heat: This is great basketball

Outside the Sixers championship run in 2001, I honestly can’t think of a more exciting piece of basketball fare than the forthcoming Detroit-Miami matchup. In one corner, you’ve got the defending world champion Detroit Pistons with their stifling defense and overall team play. In the other corner you’ve got the most dominating player since Michael Jordan (Shaq) teaming up with someone who could eventually be even better (Wade). This is what sport is all about: pitting the best against the best. You’ve clearly got that going on in the Eastern Conference Finals. We’ll see if Wallace can reign in Shaq and whether Miami has the stamina to hold up against a “wear-you-out-in-seven” Detroit. Miami takes in 7.
