Eagles Camp Report

Wide receiver Reggie Brown looks good so far. Offensive coordinator Brad Childress is quoted as saying ofBrown that ”He’s certainly shown an aptitude and ability to hold his own against these guys [professional defenders]”

Keith Adams has the starting weakside linebacker position, though this position is up for grabs throughout the pre-season (Simoneau will be the primary competitor).

McDougle is being given a chance at the right defensive end position, although his first two years have been lackluster. There is an expectation that this might be his break-out year.

Rod Hood is the number one candidate for kickoff returning (until, if ever, Reed fully recovers from his bizarre injury).

Dexter Wynn is expected to be the punt returner.

Freddie continues to make a fool of himself, and besides having been asked by Andy Reid not to show up for camp, he’s now seeking out his own trade. Unbelievable.
